SBS was established in 1964 to sell and support voice processing solutions, specialising in dictation systems and multi channel audio for courtrooms.  Now considered the leading provider of Digital Dictation and Transcription sales, support and services in New Zealand, the SBS team have experts to service all your needs – and that now includes Speech Recognition.

SBS have taken over the Voice Perfect NZ team, and will continue supplying Dragon NaturallySpeaking and all the dictation hardware (digital pocket memos, transcription kits, noise cancelling headsets, wireless headsets, desktop microphones).  Still providing professional services and consultancy, we remain the only dedicated certified resellers and trainers of Dragon NaturallySpeaking in NZ, and we can ensure your Speech Recognition and Digital Dictation solutions work for you.    

As a Nuance Solutions Partner and a Value Added Reseller, we work closely with Nuance.  

In New Zealand since 2002, we are proud that in our 8 years of operation we have sold, trained and supported more speech recognition solutions than anyone else in New Zealand.  

David Shepherd
David is the NZ SR Manager and has been in the industry since 2004.
Working with Dragon 7,8,9, 10 and 11 he has trained hundreds of Dragon users and dozens of trainers.
David travels the country extensively and is based out of Wellington.
Experienced in every aspect of SR and DD, from bespoke solutions for tetraplegics to large scale implementations for enterprise wide use, he is often referred to as the Dragon Man.

Greg Hunt
Sales and Support Manager, Greg has been in the industry since 2005. 
A highly recommended trainer who has helped everyone from dyslexic youth to C level managment in successfully using speech recognition.  Greg specialises in custom vocabulary development and technical support, he is often the first port of call for our customers in need. Based out of Wellington, Greg travels to Auckland on a regular basis.

Michael Clark
SBS's South Island Dragon agent and Trainer, Michael has been involved in Teaching and Education for over 40 years.  Working with Dragon since 2000 he provides installation, training and call out support to the greater Canterbury region.  Michael also runs his own training and education resource support company Accelerated Learning Associates Ltd.

Ross and Naomi Forrester
Auckland based, Naomi and Ross have more than 20 years of experience in the field of speech recognition.
With Naomi's previous experience as an Assistant Technology Assessor for the Ministry of Education, Primary school teacher and Ross's strong background in business, managing workforces with hundreds of staff they can help train you in Dragon for business, education and disability environments.  Speaking Solutions
